With origins in Europe, gin gets its name from the Dutch word for juniper: genever. Initially produced for medicinal purposes, gin’s botanical notes and refreshing zing saw it quickly become a favourite spirit. Whether it’s for martinis or cocktails, we have just the tonic.
Gin lends itself to be paired with an infinite array of flavours. Here’s a twist for your next high tea.
4ml of an Earl Grey tea mixed with one teaspoon of honey
50ml dry gin
150ml tonic water
Add ice to a highball glass, add gin
followed by tonic. Top with four dashes of
tincture. Stir gently
