This limited release allows our winemakers to emphasize the extraordinary terroir of our unique properties and craft very small lots for rened palates.

Alexander Valley AVA
Established in 1984, the Alexander Valley AVA is a long, slim winegrowing region dened by the Russian River winding up its mid line and the Mayacamas Mountains lining its eastern borders. The portion of the AVA we farm for this wine is comprised mainly of mountains, ridges, hillsides, and benchlands, and is lled with a diverse array of soils rich in calcium, gravel, sand and clay.

Profile
This Cabernet shows mountain intensity in its rich blackberry, black currant and cassis avors. It’s bone dry, with thick but rened long tannins, and brightened by a ne burst of fruit and acidity. Blended with a little Merlot and Petit Verdot for complexity, it drinks beautifully now, and will age for a decade or longer.
