IDS is committed to giving back wherever possible, and that has developed into a programme of supporting children based charities around the world.
One of the charities IDS are delighted to collaborate with is Life Skills Haiti. They support and empower underprivileged Haitian youth living in rural areas to acquire the tools, education and key life skills they need to find or create sustainable employment that forms the foundation of long-term economic development and builds strong communities.
IDS Miami have funded training scholarships for over 30 nurses. And we have further plans to continue.
Our Plan
When your embassy reaches a combined spend of $100,000 with IDS Miami – we will fund the training of another nurse. This can be reached in 1 order or over a number of combined orders, in one calendar year.
Our Invitation
IDS Miami will invite our embassy customers to join us in funding another nurse at an annual cost of just $1,500.
Our Commitment
If you choose to join us in funding the training of 1 nurse, IDS Miami will match your funding with a further $1,500 and through choosing IDS Miami together we can change lives, we can change communities, we can address a gender imbalance where 45% of Haitian women over 15 years old are illiterate.
