The Edition Philipp Bassler is named after one of the 54 founders of our manufactory who, as early as 1902, dedicated himself like no other to raising the quality of wine. Today, his name stands for wines from our best parcels. Here, selected winegrowers use traditional cultivation methods and consistent craftsmanship in the cellar to produce wines that reflect their origin and our high quality standards particularly clearly. Germany is the 3rd largest region growing Pinot Noir. Here we have a typcial example showcasing typical red fruit and delicate tannin. This red wine shines with a fruity, powerful and at the same time very juicy character. Aged in wooden barrels and barriques, it produces a particularly fine aroma with a subtle hint of coffee that intensely caresses the nose. On the palate, it delights with its intense, juicy fruit of cherries, blueberries and raspberries, which lingers in the mouth for a long time. With this wine, you serve your guests something very special.
