This Japanese single grain whisky from the Chita distillery, is a beautiful, light whisky, matured in a combination of sherry, bourbon and wine casks. On the nose, you find sandalwood, crème brûlée, acacia honey and a little cardamom. There is nothing forceful or brash about this whisky - it has a delicate nutty aspect, golden syrup and a timid honey. In the mouth, a buttery shortbread with vanilla cream and an engaging texture.
