St Hallett is one of the founding wineries of the region, established by the Lindner family in 1944, its wines epitomise the Barossa. The winery has achieved iconic status and a worldwide reputation for Shiraz by producing wines which reflect the spectrum and potential of the grape in this region.

This is the Shiraz which starts it all for many St Hallett lovers. Our Faith Shiraz is a vibrant and expressive example of Barossa Shiraz. An accessible, juicy and fruit-driven wine, Faith's vibrant yet dense purple hue hints at the generosity of fruit within.

The 2017 vintage commenced about four weeks later than the previous five and was coined by many as the 'oldnormal', with the first Shiraz ready on 4th March. Mild temperatures through February provided a steady ramp-up incrushing. The 2017 vintage was preceded by a favourable season in the Baross that allowed all vineyards to produce both strong yields and high quality, and has delivered some absolute standout wines from pedigree vineyards.

APPEARANCE: Vibrant purple

NOSE: Lifted with bright dark cherry fruit characters, a hint of chocolate with enticing spice notes.

PALATE: Dark berry fruits combine with a lively palate entwined with pepper spices and chocolate tones. A long savoury finish iscoated in soft tannins to complete this rich and generous palate.

FOOD MATCH: A versatile wine for classic dishes such as grilled lamb chops, slow-cooked stews or bolognese.
