Wine description
How attractive Pinot Grigio can be. Nice straw yellow. Round and soft in taste, with ripe white fruit, nice and juicy. Not very powerful, but an attractive acidity finishes it off.

Background information
The Veneto region is the most important wine region in Italy. This part of the country is also the cradle of many wines based on pinot grigio, the smooth Italian variant of the well-known Pinot Gris. Pinot Grigio from Piave, part of Veneto, by the river of the same name, is a tasty version, with delicious fruit and a lot of power.

The family wine company Botter was founded in 1928 by Carlo Botter. The company is located on the border of the regions of Veneto and Friuli, about 30 km north-east of Venice. This dynamic company is now run by the founder's sons, Enzo and and Arnaldo, now assisted by grandchildren Luca, Annalisa and Alessandro Botter. The company offers a wide variety of wines from all major wine regions of Italy. It works closely with producers in, among others, Apulia, Molise, Abruzzo and Sicily, regions that occupy an important place in Botter's range. The focus is on making excellent, yet very affordable wines.
