Valmur forms a tiny valley in the middle of the Chablis Grands Crus with a variation in exposure between northwest and south. The wine has a very well-balanced mineral character that is powerful and surprisingly fruity. The nose is lemony, peppery and spicy, with iodine and toasted notes. The palate is tense with liquorice, chiselled and brioche notes.
