Château Maillet is a beautiful 5 ha property where the vines - 80% merlot and 20% cabernet franc - are located on the same terroir as Pétrus, 400m away. The care taken with the vines, the classic vinification followed by ageing in barrels, 70% of which are new, guarantee long ageing. Beautiful deep colour, melted nose, suave like the great Pomerols with red and black fruits, cedar and a touch of truffle.
