The name Chiripa is the mother´s family Nickname. The grapes come from vineyards planted by Tomás Esteban and range from 20 to 30 years old in the place La Guindalera. The ageing is during 12 months, 50% oak foudre, 20% concrete wine tank and 30 % tradicional barrels. Visually it is bright cherry red, very clean. In the nose: dominated by aromas of ripe red and black fruits on a spicy background with notes milk and toast from the barrels. In the mouth: entrance marked by abundant fruit load. On the palate feels its roundness, with extraordinary acidity and tannins in their point of maturity. Lingering finish.
