Wines from large oak barrel or from old vines. Only vines that are at least 20 years old produce the high-quality grapes (under 40 hl/ha). Due to the age of the vines, the roots have penetrated far into the granite weathered soils and can absorb more minerals from the soil. Noble ruby red colour, fine aromas of local wild berries, hints of delicate chocolate, powerful, balanced, full-bodied, strong tannins, rich in extract and infinitely long finish. Vinification: Traditional maceration with a long retention time on the skins. Skilful ageing and play with the wood as a structural element.
