Don Maximiano Founder's Reserve represents our quest to make the finest Cabernet Sauvignon from the Valle de Aconcagua, with just a touch of Syrah and Petit Verdot to heighten the freshness, structure, and colour, while 18 months in new French oak barrels lends delightful complexity. Cherries, black currant, blueberry and truffle appear on the nose along with a touch of black pepper, chocolate, and cedar. The voluptuous palate features fine, firm tannins, sweet spices, vibrant acidity, and a pleasingly elegant finish that will continue to develop in the bottle for years to come.
