Some old vines are like little jewels that along with the vintage leave a mark that is difficult to repeat. At Vinyes Domènech we decided to create a collection called “Experiences” and they will only be limited and exceptional micro-vinifications. Vinyes Velles de Macabeu comes from a plot of 0.18 Ha, protected by the hill of the Mas d’en Tost estate in Masroig, about low-yielding old vineyards that give a wine of a aromatic delicacy,and rich extraordinary taste. Color : It is a pale yellow like grass when it starts to dry out. Aroma: Yellow and white fruit, peach, apricot, pear and green apple with balsamic notes of sage and chamomile and with the final touches of fennel. Taste: Pleasant on entering following with the powerful unctuous passage through the mouth. It delights us with a hint of salty sapidity, which in conjunction with the acidity gives crunchiness. Its retro-nasal takes us to anisee and juniper.
