An extremely punchy and grassy Rhum Agricole from Karukera. Karukera takes its name from the original, pre-Columbus name of the Caribbean island. Agricole is a style of rum produced using the fermented juice of the sugar cane, rather than molasses or other sugar products. This unaged spirit from Gaudeloupe emphasises this quality, with an aggressive herbaceous quality that dominates the palate. Karukera Blanc is tempered with notes of vanilla and lime, and would be well suited to a range of citrus based cocktails. Bottled at a hefty 50% ABV, this allows the flavours to ring true, and ensures the spirit is assertive in even the most complex of cocktails.
