Baron Philippe de Rothschild, Mouton Cadet Reserve Graves Blanc
The Entre-deux-mers, situated between the Dordogne and the Garonne, is made up of very high-quality, predominantly clay-limestone soil, ideal for all white grape varieties. Limestone gives the wine a mineral freshness, while clay soil brings out the fruit and the typical sauvignon flavours of boxwood and blackcurrant bud.
COLOUR: a glittering golden yellow
NOSE: the nose opens on peach and citrus fruit aromas, especially lemon and grapefruit, going on with airing to reveal toasted notes and a hint of vanilla
PALATE: the supple and fresh attack on citrus fruit flavours leads into a mineral mid-palate on notes of white peach, while the finish is sustained by light notes of roasted coffee beans.
