The Müller-Thurgau estate wine comes from selected vineyards with pure southern exposure. The base of the soils consists of limestone with some loam and marl in different proportions. The grapes of this Müller-Thurgau wine were harvested fully ripe. The yield is naturally regulated by the age of the vineyard of about 30 years to 8,000 liters per hectare. The mash was pressed after a short time of skin-contact and then fermented with cultured yeast in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The bottling took place after the wine had spent 5 months in contact with the full lees. This was done to add structure and mouthfeel to the wine. As a result and thanks to the old vines, this Müller-Thurgau is a very deep and complex representative of its kind. It is bursting with exotic fruit. Its subtle acidity and clear minerality show on the palate for a long time, which makes it a perfect companion to light food.
