Fine and elegant noble sweet selection, with eerie abundance of candied fruits and ripe papaya, mango, passion fruit. A playful acid that dances rumba on the tongue. Long elegant finish with neat pressure on the palate. This wine will continue to be fun for the next 20 years.

 

The location Doosberg includes a slight southern slope, which forms the eastern edge of the municipal area of Oestrich. It presents itself as a self-contained homogeneous surface, not interspersed with valleys or streams. A constant wind goes over this natural "crooked plane", which is particularly advantageous in autumn, because it allows the moisture from fog or rain to dry and the grapes stay healthy longer. The heart of the location is located on a small hilltop, which gives the vineyard an additional western slope. In the soil you will find humus and partly somewhat clayey loess clay, which is crossed by gritty deposits. Due to the slope and these gravel bands, the water balance in the Doosberg is optimal.
