At IDS, success means being able to actively support a worthy cause. We fund year-round meals at Shamida in Ethiopia and provide financial aid to The Sparkle Foundation in Malawi, helping deliver education, food, and healthcare to those in need. In Haiti, we sponsor nursing scholarships for young women in Fort Liberté, resulting in 50 qualified nurses, a powerful step for both empowerment and healthcare.

Since 2019, IDS has supported Shamida Ethiopia, a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing care, support, and development programs for children in need in Ethiopia.

Our contributions include funding the annual food costs for both children and staff, ensuring the provision of three nutritious meals daily. Additionally, IDS employees provide Christmas presents for the children annually.

The Sparkle Foundation (Malawi)

We have been proudly supporting the work of The Sparkle Foundation since 2024.

Through our internal fundraising campaign, the 100 Club, and export customer donations through our website, IDS has sponsored free education, healthcare, and nutrition for children and families in need.

We are currently supporting the opening of the charity’s fourth site in Malawi and are sponsoring two new playgrounds in the area this year.

Our CEO, Patrick Doyle, serves as Vice-Chair of The Sparkle Foundation UAE Board, strengthening our commitment to our long-term partnership and impact.

IDS proudly partners with Life Skills Haiti, a nonprofit organisation dedicated to empowering underprivileged youth in rural Haiti through education and vocational training.

To celebrate the launch of IDS Miami in 2020, IDS partnered with Life Skills Haiti to sponsor the tuition of 10 nursing students for the 2020–2021 school year. Since then, IDS has continued to maintain and support this partnership by donating 1.5% of every $100,000 earned from US Embassy sales towards nursing tuition and matching any additional donations made by the embassies. In Haiti, we sponsor nursing scholarships for young women in Fort Liberté, resulting in 50 qualified nurses, a powerful step for both empowerment and healthcare.
