Mezcal Clase Azul made from Cenizo Agave, grows wild in the State of Durango where the extreme climate, the rich minerals of its soil, and the source of natural springs in the area, give particular force and complexity to its notes, making it an entirely different mezcal than what is produced in the rest of Mexico.

Appearance: Bright and crystal clear.

Nose: Citrus and herbal fragrances, smoky wood, cooked agave and clove.

Taste: Herbal mouthfeel with warm notes of chocolate and smoky wood and nuances of clove and quince compote.

Food pairings: Parmesan or Pecorino Romano cheese, avocado or orange, and white chocolates.

About the Producer: Clase Azul is an exciting tequila producer based in Jesús María. The company was founded by Guadalajara native Arturo Lomeli, who launched his Reposado in 2000. Today the brand produces four tequilas and a mezcal, all from organic, non-genetically modified agave.
