Bollinger R.D. 2008 Extra Brut Champagne is an exquisite expression of the 2008 vintage, showcasing the visionary craftsmanship of the Bollinger house. Comprising 71% Pinot Noir and 29% Chardonnay, this champagne predominantly uses grapes from prestigious Grand Cru vineyards such as Aÿ and Verzenay for the Pinot Noir and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Cramant for the Chardonnay.

This champagne undergoes oak barrel fermentation and is disgorged just prior to release, ensuring remarkable freshness. With a very low dosage of 3 grams per litre (extra brut), Bollinger R.D. 2008 offers a lively, complex experience that unfolds with every sip. The long ageing process enhances its richness, precision, and exceptional opulence.

APPEARANCE: Glimmering with golden reflections.

NOSE: Aromas of marzipan, stewed apricots, honey, and breadcrumbs, complemented by fresh bergamot.

PALATE: Rich and precise mousse with citrus notes, followed by Mirabelle plums, vine peaches, fresh hazelnuts, and salinity. An intense, everlasting finish that showcases exceptional complexity.
