The  Château La Mission Haut-Brion, adjacent to the famous Chateau Haut Brion produced some of the finest wines of Bordeaux. The Lestonnac family is at the origin of the castle in the 16th century. It then passed into the hands of various owners before being purchased by the Dillon family. Jewel of Pessac-Léognan , the estate has affirmed its powerful character through its vintages of incredible regularity.

Traditional vinification. Manual harvest with sorting on the table in the vineyard. Fermentation in stainless steel vats. Aging from 18 to 22 months in new barrels at 80%. Egg white bonding.

A wine dominated by Merlot which offers remarkable roundness, mature notes of liquorice and menthol aromas which bring a lot of freshness. The woodiness blends in perfectly with the whole and will become even more refined over time. Pure and fine, this 2012 vintage is a real pleasure to taste.
